Painter Deirdre White was given the task of selecting a famous woman from the Delaware Valley for Philadelphia Stories, a literary magazine. The project consisted of selecting the woman and then creating an artwork representing her. White chose Helga Testorf, the art model.

Apiary Magazine is dedicated to helping young and established writers in Philadelphia as well as helping connect the community with local literature.

-Strawberry Mansion: Recreation Center Helps Children Learn and Grow
Cecil B. Moore Recreation Center provides a safe learning environment for children to take part in activities such as martial arts, cooking, theater arts and an after school program.
-Strawberry Mansion: Widener Library Block Party Teaches Vocabulary
The Widener Library had their first block party, Words at Play Vocabulary Initiative, hosted by PNC. Words at Play is a community-wide initiative to show the importance of learning vocabulary at a young age through playing, singing and reading.
